Hani is the Principal and Founder of Red Dog Strategies, where he serves as a senior communications advisor for companies seeking to elevate their external and internal storytelling efforts. Hani brings decades of experience building and leading strategic communications and marketing teams across companies of all sizes. His advisory work at Red Dog Strategies spans a broad range of services, including corporate narrative development, crisis management, mergers and acquisitions, change management, and executive thought leadership.

Before founding Red Dog Strategies, Hani served as Vice President of Communications, Economics, and Editorial at Move, Inc., the operator of Realtor.com. At Move, Inc., Hani led a team of 20, overseeing external communications, the company’s News & Insights editorial platform, and its economic research team. His efforts helped tell impactful stories that informed and entertained both consumers and customers.

Prior to his role at Move, Inc., Hani was Vice President and Head of Marketing & Communications at Samsung NEXT, where he oversaw marketing and communications efforts for Samsung’s corporate innovation group. His work at Samsung NEXT involved thought leadership, brand development, and communications strategy aimed at transforming Samsung through software and services innovation. Hani also held senior leadership positions at Pandora, where he helped guide the company through a challenging product launch and leadership transition, and at LinkedIn, where he was the first corporate communications lead as the company prepared to go public. During his tenure at LinkedIn, Hani built a communications team and played a key role in the company's transition from a relatively under-known player to being acquired by Microsoft for $26 billion.

Hani’s extensive experience also includes senior communications roles at HP, eBay, and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, where he specialized in corporate media relations, crisis communications, policy communications, and brand strategy. He has worked closely with C-suite executives to craft media strategies, manage crises, and drive corporate storytelling across multiple industries.
